Advertising with Dirty Jo Bikes

We are members of the Monkeydevil Business Promotion Project, helping to tie links between non-competitive businesses within a particular region. Our primary region for this purpose is Bude, and our secondary region is North Cornwall. As part of this project, we can offer both sponsored advertising, and lower-cost local business advertising.

Local Business Reciprocal Advertising

We're very keen on promoting local businesses, and so long as you meet the criteria of being based in the same region as us, and are a non-competitive business then we can consider placing an advertisement on our website for you. You don't even need to have a website - we can produce a flat advertisement to appear at random upon our pages that either displays your telephone number or links to your email address (or both). We would, however, expect in return that you provide advertising space for each business that you advertise with through our service, within your business premises. All associated advertisement literature will be provided by the project managers, Monkeydevil.

We're not guaranteeing any level of extra hits from our site to yours, but anybody visiting our website and navigating through the site will be sure to see an advertisment for your business - which is surely better than not being exposed at all!

Technical Information

For business promotion, we offer advertisement space of two sizes, to be displayed at random on any page other than the homepage, in the right-hand section of the page. The sizes are provided below:

Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions cover the advertising package for advertising on the dont push it website at http://www.dirtyjobikes.co.uk and http://www.dontpushit.co.uk only.

By agreeing to advertise on our website (dirtyjobikes.co.uk) you are agreeing to these terms and conditions, and are allowing us to place a link to your business within the pages of our website. We reserve the right to remove the advertisement at any time. We do not accept liability for loss or damage of or to anything associated with our website. We cannot guarantee any exposure whatsoever (but it's going to happen, so don't worry!) - the system behind the website chooses a random advertisement for all pages on the website other than the homepage. Therefore, the more businesses advertising through this system, the lower the probability of one particular advert appearing.

A nominal fee is charged to the business placing the advert for creation/configuration of the advertisement. This price varies per advertisement, but is generally less than £100.00

Monkeydevil Business Promotion Project Members

As part of the Monkeydevil Business Promotion Project, you agree to place an advertisement for all businesses that your website is being advertised on through the project, in appropriately high-exposure situations. Failure to do this within one month of your advertisement being placed upon a Monkeydevil Business Promotion Project site will result in your advertisement being removed until such a time that you have met the criteria within our terms of service.

Businesses advertising through this project, but without a website will benefit from exposure of their business contact details and/or a link to their email facility. In return they are expected to provide ample advertisement space within their business premises. This advertising space will be used for hard-copy adverts to promote businesses that advertise for them on their website(s). Failure to provide such a space within one month of your advertisement being posted will result in your advertisement being removed altogether.

Sponsored Advertisement Customers

An annual fee is charged for your advertisement upon our website. We do not expect a reciprocal link, although we may have agreed a discount based upon this factor. If this is the case, and you have not placed a reciprocal link of satisfactory exposure within an acceptable time frame (usually one month), then your advertisement will be removed and any outstanding funds associated with your advertisement placed with us will be returned.

We cannot guarantee hits to your site from us, and will not measure any hits to your site from us. Any tracking of this sort must be carried out at the destination address.
